It sounds like your Husky 32218 weight distribution hitch head itself is damaged. With the way the bar is flinging out it sounds like mounting tab where the spring bar sits into is bending up as it goes out which explains why the bar would also push out under load. This would also explain why both sides do not require the same amount of force to lift both sides. You can try reaching out to Husky to determine if this is something they will cover under warranty. Reese got rid of a lot of the older weight distribution replacement parts a few years back when they went and updated most of the lines that they offered so there isn't going to be the replacement parts you are looking for. So it would be best to replace the entire system Bob.
A system like the Reese part # RP66542 would work great as it has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs which should match what your camper has well. view full answer...

If you have the SwayPro system then you're using the 1,000 lbs TW Spring Bars # BXW4007 with a range of 750 lbs - 1,000 lbs, and if you have the 2-Point Sway system then you're using the 1,200 lbs TW Spring Bars # BLU64XR with a range of 800 lbs - 1,200 lbs.
Both of these options will work just fine with your new setup, but if you really want to go to a lower rating then that's fine, provided you keep your tongue weight within the proper ranges:

Unfortunately Reese no longer offers the hardware for Replacement Head # RP58112 separately. This is an all to common problem we experience with Reese as they update and phase out their weight distribution hitch systems. This is a reason I much prefer to recommend Equal-i-zer systems as they have a system that works and continue to make replacement parts. Typically when the frame brackets for the Reese Weight Distribution # RP66020 can't be used they switch to the Bolt On Hangers # RP58305. I have seen some weld the brackets onto the trailer but as Reese did not design the brackets to be used in that manner I cannot give you any details on how much of the bracket needs to be welded. It shouldn't take much but they need to be secured in place to not slide on the frame or lift from the top rail.

You can replace the Lippert Rhino pin box on your Brinkley 5th wheel. The right one though is going to depend on the pin weight of your trailer. Here are the options that will work to replace the Lippert Rhino:
- Pin Weight of 1,500 lbs - 3,500 lbs: Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY98GR
- Pin Weight of 2,500 lbs - 4,500 lbs: Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY33GR

Thanks so much for that info Tyler, and I was able to find the right Gen-Y gooseneck pin box for you. Since you have the Lippert Rhino on your 2024 Jayco Eagle 355MBQS, the right option is the following:

The best option is to use the Reese Goose Box # RP94716-61301 as this is currently the only replacement pin box approved by Lippert to not void the frame warranty on your 5th wheel camper. Do understand that this pin box does have a maximum trailer capacity of 16,000lbs so it will only slightly reduce your maximum loaded capacity.
You will need the Safety Chain Kit # RP49151 since you are switching to a ball connection and all ball connections require safety chains by law. view full answer...
The Curt Q-Series fifth wheel hitches, like the Q-20 # C16530-16020 you were looking at, have been known to have compatibility issues with certain pin boxes that ends up wearing the head out too quickly. Depending on the severity of the grading you could be placing a lot of stress on the head which will eventually wear down the bushings and require complete replacement of the head unit.
